About Double E

Eric “Double E” Erlacher is a high-energy stand-up comedian and producer who knows how to turn a room into a show. As a professional firefighter for over 20 years, Eric’s sharp wit, unique perspectives, and hilarious takes on everyday life translate into some of the most authentic, fearless, high impact comedy that consistently delivers high laughs.

Known for his candor, natural charm, and high energy delivery, Eric has quickly built a strong following. Paired with his background as a small business owner and marketing experience, he brings a rare ability to not only command a room, but consistently put people in it. His momentum has earned him recognition as one of Florida’s rising comics, including a selection to compete in Florida’s Funniest Comedian Competition, where he secured a wildcard spot in the highly competitive Orlando market on his first attempt.

Eric has performed at venues including Gregory’s, Triggered Comedy Club, Key West Theater, and Boca Black Box 2.0 just to name a few, and is slated to perform at Yuk Yuk’s in Nova Scotia this summer.

Beyond performing, Eric is also a seasoned producer who understands what makes a show work. Through his company, Dirty Pelican Productions, he produces the well-known Tuesday Night Comedy Showcase at the Moon Room in Melbourne and the Blind Lion Comedy Showcase in Cocoa. This dual perspective gives him a distinct edge on stage allowing him to read the room, adapt in real time, and deliver consistently engaging performances to a wide range of audiences.

When he’s not on stage, Eric spends time with his wife and daughter, often finding inspiration for his material in everyday life.
